In this study, for the purpose of applying bamboo-reinforced concrete using bamboo as main reinforcement to structural members, first alkali resistance of bamboo embedded in concrete was experimentally confirmed. Next, a flexural loading test of bamboo-reinforced concrete slabs was conducted, and experimental and analytical investigations were performed on the ultimate strength in flexure of the specimens in order to clarify the applicability of structural calculations for bamboo-reinforced concrete members.
