Intestinal intussusception is most often caused by organic intestine disease: 81.8% — benign, 18.2% — malignant. Due to the lack of typical symptoms that allow differentiation of intestinal intussusception with other acute surgical diseases and the lack of specificity of research methods the diagnosis is more often established intraoperatively. The article presents a clinical case of diagnosis and successful treatment of a patient with ileocecal intussusception caused by gastrointestinal stromal tumor of small intestine.
