Supportive care is an essential component of cancer treatment but is often under-addressed, especially in primary care settings. This short observational commentary highlights gaps in assessing and addressing supportive care needs among cancer patients. Integrating longitudinal supportive care approaches into primary care could improve patient outcomes, enhance quality of life, and allow timely interventions tailored to individual needs.
