This paper explores the deep cognitive connection between Asperger syndrome and schizoid states, proposing that the schizoid phase is not a distinct disorder but a symbolic and evolutionary response mechanism in individuals with Asperger's, who have high cognitive and emotional potential. Through an autobiographical case study supported by theoretical insights, it argues that symbolic artistic production—especially poetry—functions as an adaptive reconstruction tool that restores empathic balance and mental integrity. The work contributes to a novel understanding of autism spectrum conditions through the lens of symbolic cognition, trauma, and evolutionary necessity.
