Cultural conformity is a critical component of social cohesion and psychological well-being. This study aimed to develop the Individual Cultural Conformity Scale to assess cultural conformity within an individual’s socio-cultural context. Initially, 300 items were created in Hindi, from which 87 were selected based on readability, comprehensibility, and relevance. A pilot study ensured the scale's suitability. The final version, comprising 80 items across four dimensions, was administered to 416 participants (280 females and 136 males) aged 17 to 28 years. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) revealed four components, and the final scale demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = .929). This scale offers a robust measure of cultural conformity and can be utilized in diverse psychological and sociocultural studies.
