This preprint presents a review of satellites developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and their applications in modern science and technology. The paper discusses different categories of satellites, including communication, remote sensing, navigation, and earth observation satellites. It highlights the role of ISRO satellite missions in areas such as weather forecasting, agriculture monitoring, disaster management, communication services, and national development. The study also reviews major ISRO satellite missions such as INSAT, GSAT, Cartosat, RISAT, and NavIC, explaining their technological significance and practical applications.
