This study aims to propose color design strategies by examining the relationship between color preferences, user psychology, and spatial perception in residential interiors. Colors were evaluated holistically, not only by their basic types (hue) but also by their value (lightness/darkness) and saturation. The analyses reveal that warm colors are suitable for social interaction and dining spaces, while cool colors should be preferred in resting, sleeping, and working spaces. The research findings indicate that the same color type can elicit different psychological and physiological responses at different value and saturation levels, and that color effects vary significantly depending on the space's function, user profile, and contextual factors. Based on these findings, the study provides practical color strategies to optimize the user experience for different residential spaces (living rooms, bedrooms, workspaces, etc.).
