Monitoring data on health status and the functional condition of the body is a key factor in the success of any type of activity. It becomes particularly important in the process of physical education, serving as a crucial condition for its effective organization based on the timely identification of health deviations that may be exacerbated by intense physical activity. The article substantiates the necessity of systematic monitoring of the functional systems of students' bodies as a primary factor, determining not only the effectiveness of the physical education process in higher education institutions but also their overall health, well-being, and physical and mental performance. The purpose of the study is to examine the characteristics of the impact of systematic physical activity on the state of functional systems, morphofunctional status, and health of pedagogical university students; to substantiate the leading organizational and substantive components of health-preserving activities in the process of physical education for students. Research methods: theoretical (analysis and synthesis of the problem situation; comparative analysis, methods of analogy, comparison and juxtaposition, conceptualization; analysis of scientific and methodological literature, documentary and archival materials on the research topic); empirical (pedagogical observations, interviews, questionnaires, testing). Research results and conclusions. The influence of systematic physical activity on the condition of the body's functional systems is substantiated, and it is presented as a leading factor determining students' health, overall well-being, work capacity, and success in academic activities. The material provides substantive information on the nature and outcomes of regular physical activity's impact on the morphofunctional status and health of students from various pedagogical faculties. The impact of systematic physical activity on morphological and functional changes that contribute to the body's adaptation to physical workloads is demonstrated; as well as the correct emphasis and specific organizational aspects of physical activity, its forms, means, and methods based on the knowledge and consideration of the state of human morphofunctional systems. The degree of influence of physical training on the improvement of the body's functional systems, especially during adolescence, is highlighted.
