This study investigates the implementation of an integrated performance scorecard and real-time web-based monitoring system for improving haulage operator performance in a large-scale open-pit mining operation at PTVI. A descriptive quantitative single-case study was conducted using full-population operational data integrated from dispatch production, equipment telemetry, and fatigue management systems, complemented by survey data from 70 operators, dispatchers, and supervisors. A comparative evaluation between the pre-implementation (March–May 2025) and post-implementation (June–August 2025) periods demonstrates measurable operational and safety improvements. Total working hours increased by 9.54%, total material moved rose by 15.72%, and productivity improved by 2.07%. Behavior-based safety indicators showed substantial reductions, with operational abuse events decreasing by 26.30% and safety-related events by 22.37%. A slight reduction in average hauling distance (–3.38%) reflects improved dispatch optimization and cycle efficiency rather than performance degradation. The results indicate that integrating real-time monitoring with a weighted performance scorecard enhances supervisory responsiveness, strengthens accountability, and aligns productivity gains with safety performance. The proposed approach provides practical evidence for the application of digital performance management systems in modern mining operations.
