Preclinical evidence suggests laquinimod may modulate motor, inflammatory, and myelination pathways in HD; however, clinical evidence shows no meaningful benefit. Data on long-term safety remain limited. Larger, well-designed trials using standardized biomarkers are needed to clarify its therapeutic potential.
