This preprint presents a conceptual framework proposing that autoimmune flare may represent a network synchronization transition across coupled physiological systems, including immune, autonomic, endocrine, and circadian domains. Drawing on principles from network physiology and critical transition theory, the manuscript outlines a phase-sensitive perspective on remission–flare dynamics in rheumatology. The work is hypothesis-generating and proposes testable predictions for longitudinal clinical monitoring and cross-system coupling analysis. This manuscript has not undergone peer review.
