The poster ‘IESS project: quantifying the economic, social, and environmental impact of agroecological tools for soil carbon sequestration’ is realised for the Carbon Farming Summit 2026. This poster presents the IESS project, its objectives, the agroecological practices implemented and their monitoring, as well as the project's outputs and results. In this project, SROI (Social Return on Investment) was chosen as the holistic evaluation method, which determined a value of 3.29, meaning that for every euro invested in agroecological practices, there was an economic return of €3.29. The project demonstrated that these practices have economic value by monetising their environmental and social benefits. It also produced three web apps, one for each agroecological practice implemented, which allow them to be discovered and disseminated in similar contexts.
