Continuing from the first part, this paper examines day care facilities with a “single main room type where functional training, meals, and naps are carried out in contiguous rooms or adjacent rooms” and considers effective space usage configurations and furniture placement to implement a smooth program. Even small private houses must have an area of 12 tatami mats, and the Tsuzukima-zashiki is suitably sized. The sofa can accommodate multiple programs, making it effective for small-scale facilities.
