Prolactinoma manifestations have long been regarded as mild, yet recent evidencesuggests the consequences are more impactful and treatment is less optimal thanpreviously thought. The aim of this thesis was to present novel insights into outcomeevaluations, diagnosis, and treatment of prolactinomas. By using patient-reportedoutcomes alongside the traditional biochemical, radiologic, and clinician-reportedoutcomes, this thesis aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the patients’ diseaseburden and identify areas of care that require improvement.
