STC2 promotes anoikis resistance by modulating TGIF1 mRNA stability in colorectal cancer
Key Points
Anoikis resistance is enhanced by STC2 in colorectal cancer, impacting disease progression.
A key finding indicates that TGIF1 mRNA stability is modulated by STC2 in CRC cells.
Analysis highlights the potential of STC2 as a therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker for colorectal cancer.
Further investigations are needed to validate STC2’s role as a therapeutic intervention in clinical settings.
Abstract
Our findings suggest that STC2 promotes anoikis resistance in CRC by regulating TGIF1 mRNA stability. STC2 may serve as a potential therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker for colorectal cancer.
