This project integrates a custom-trained GPT model into undergrad U.S. History courses to support students in analyzing primary sources, evaluating historical perspectives, and bridging the gap into AI Literacy. Students use AI to generate draft responses, then critically review, annotate, and revise outputs, ensuring that human oversight fosters deeper historical thinking rather than passive acceptance of machine responses.
