Biomimetic Magnetic Cilia In their Research Article (10.1002/admt.202501095), Chenqian Zhang and co-workers propose a quantitative theoretical model that captures the coupled mechanical and magnetic behavior of cilia-based tactile sensors. Representing the cilium as a two-segment beam composed of a non-magnetic base and magnetic tip, the model shows strong agreement with both finite element simulations and experimental results (R2 > 0.99).
