This analytical study explores the usage pattern, switching behaviour, and consumer perception towards biodegradable sanitary napkins among women. The research focuses on understanding the awareness level, adoption rate, purchasing behaviour, and challenges faced while switching from conventional plastic-based sanitary napkins to biodegradable alternatives. Using a structured questionnaire, primary data was collected from 50 respondents. The findings reveal that while awareness about biodegradable sanitary napkins is moderate, complete switching remains limited due to factors such as availability, perceived quality, and cost concerns. The study highlights the growing inclination toward sustainable menstrual hygiene products and emphasizes the role of social influence, digital media, and retail availability in shaping consumer decisions. The insights derived from the research can assist manufacturers, policymakers, and health educators in promoting eco-friendly menstrual products effectively.
