Game journalism, a unique field of journalism, often covers socially significant issues relevant to its audience. The audience for game journalism has specific socially significant issues of interest to them. Therefore, game journalism has its own unique methods for presenting social issues. These methods will be discussed and analyzed in this article. This article focuses on the analysis of methods for presenting socially significant content in video game journalism. The article examines the forms and techniques for presenting social issues in gaming media content. The aim of the article is to study, identify, and systematize the methods used by gaming publications when publishing socially significant content. The methodological basis of the study consists of an analysis of scholarly sources related to the subject matter in game journalism, as well as descriptive, analytical, and comparative methods. This article establishes that socially important content in video game journalism has its own unique methods of presentation, namely: genre diversity, the use of various content forms, including video and text, and a unique authorial presentation through a subjective interpretation of the material. The study demonstrates that socially important issues that correlate with the needs of gaming media audiences are harmoniously integrated into game reviews, interviews, news and analytical materials and are perceived by the audience as an important part of the content of gaming publications. An analysis of specific materials from an online gaming publication allowed us to conclude that the method of presentation is interrelated with the level of engagement of the gaming audience with the materials. In this article, methods of presenting socially significant issues are systematized through an analysis of specific publications and materials from video game media containing socially significant issues. This forms the scientific novelty of this article. The results of the study conclude that video game journalism adapts professional journalism methods and tools used in presenting socially significant content in this area of journalism to the specifics of gaming topics and the interests of its audience.
