The research addresses a section of liability in Islamic jurisprudence, specifically liability for destruction, and its applications in cybercrimes. It aims to clarify the concept of liability for destruction, digital crimes, their forms, punishments, and compensations prescribed by UAE law when such actions lead to the destruction of information systems. The methodology uses an inductive, analytical, and comparative approach, examining issues related to liability for destruction and cybercrime rulings from Sharia and legal sources, and linking them to UAE legislation. The findings highlight that UAE law criminalizes cybercrime perpetrators regardless of intent or target, and that punishments vary based on the perpetrator's intent and the affected entity.
