Multi-domain dysregulation follows a nonlinear trajectory across adolescence, and weaker reward-network connectivity in childhood prospectively predicts subsequent escalation of this phenotype. Prevention and intervention efforts may benefit from targeting reward processing and regulatory skills in late childhood and early adolescence.
