With the continuous expansion of renewable energy generation scale, the transient characteristics of the power system have undergone profound changes. This letter takes a system with multi‐feed grid‐forming renewable energy generation units (GFM‐REGUs) as the research object. Based on the first‐order over damping characteristics of non‐inertia GFM‐REGUs and the system network equation, a stable control scheme suitable for multi‐feed GFM‐REGU systems is proposed, which can significantly improve the synchronous stable operation ability of the system under grid faults. © 2026 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan and Wiley Periodicals LLC.
