ABSTRACT In order to achieve tolerance to misalignment at different charging distances, this paper proposes a novel integrated hybrid topology, combining the S‐S topology and the CLC‐CLC topology. By utilizing the complementary output characteristics of these two topologies, which resonate at two different frequencies, the system operates at a single frequency between them, enabling stable output under varying coupling conditions. A mathematical model considering variations in self‐inductance and mutual inductance was established, yielding a function to quantify the degree of output current fluctuation, in order to determine the optimal operating frequency that minimizes output variations. An experimental prototype was constructed to test the misalignment tolerance when the mutual inductance variation reaches up to 62% at this operating frequency. The experimental results indicate that the integrated hybrid topology exhibits stable output characteristics with an efficiency of at least 85%. Compared to conventional topologies, this topology significantly extends the charging distance.
