Role of miRNA in diagnosis of Wilms tumor and neuroblastoma
Key Points
The research aims to explore the utility of specific miRNAs as biomarkers for differentiating between Wilms tumor and neuroblastoma.
Evaluated levels of miR143 and miR124 in tumor samples
Compared miRNA levels between Wilms tumor and neuroblastoma cases
Analyzed the potential of these miRNAs as diagnostic markers
miR143 and miR124 show promise as biomarkers for differentiation
Further studies are needed to confirm the diagnostic accuracy of these miRNAs
Abstract
We conclude that miR143 and 124 might prove as useful biomarkers to differentiate between WT and Nb; however, more comprehensive evaluation is required for confirmation of the same.
