Abstract This study investigates the prevalence, types, and causes of injuries among college-level male badminton players in Gondia district, Maharashtra. A sample of 60 players aged 17–25 years was surveyed using structured questionnaires and interviews. The findings reveal that ankle sprains, shoulder tendinitis, and knee injuries are the most common, primarily caused by overuse, poor warm-up routines, and inadequate playing surfaces. The study recommends targeted injury prevention programs and physiotherapy support at the institutional level.
