This article explores the importance of teaching English through the study of British and American culture. Language and culture are inseparable components of communication, and understanding cultural context enhances learners’ linguistic competence. The paper provides an in-depth analysis of British and American cultural features and explains how studying these cultures improves English language learning. Furthermore, it compares British and American cultures and highlights their similarities and differences. The article concludes that integrating cultural studies into English language teaching significantly increases students’ communicative competence, intercultural awareness, and motivation.
