Abstract Sequencing yogasanas (yoga postures) is a fundamental pedagogical and therapeutic aspect of yoga practice, yet it remains insufficiently systematized within academic literature. While numerous studies investigate the physiological and psychological benefits of individual asanas, limited attention has been given to the scientific rationale behind arranging these postures into coherent sequences. This paper synthesizes traditional yogic principles, physiological classifications, and findings from prior empirical studies to propose a logical framework for yogasana sequencing. The proposed model emphasizes biomechanical progression, neuromuscular preparedness, and psychophysiological balance. By integrating classical yogic texts with contemporary research, this study aims to contribute a structured and evidence-informed approach for educators, practitioners, and researchers.
