We model subjective experience as a topologically protected, self-referential electromagnetic Hopfion stabilized in the nonlinear chiral dielectric medium of biological neural tissue. The optical Kerr effect evades Derrick's theorem at cellular scale (~1-10 μm, ~1-3 eV). Self-reference is formalized via the categorical Trace in dagger compact categories. Positive integrated information (Φ > 0) is derived from the macroscopic Gauss linking number. A radiative coupling hierarchy establishes causal presence without informational transparency. The Non-Generability Theorem establishes consciousness as a topological superselection sector.
