WP-01A defines Pressure as Validator, the confirmation mechanism by which emotion-activated meaning-claims earn provisional epistemic credibility within Identity-Based Emotional Epistemology (IBEE™). In IBEE™, emotions may initiate interpretive hypotheses, but credibility increases only when a meaning-claim survives bounded, governed constraint exposure across cognitive, relational, environmental, and temporal axes without systematic insulation and without contraction of governed risk exposure. The validator is explicitly non-monotonic: improvements in explanatory integration may coincide with epistemic downgrade when admissible falsifier space or constraint-source independence contracts. Formally, degenerative revision occurs when: ΔFit(m) > 0 ∧ ΔGR(m) < 0 WP-01A is architectural rather than instrumental: it specifies the validator’s core objects, downgrade conditions, and revision logic while reserving measurement design and operational tooling for subsequent white papers in the IBEE research program. Subsequent papers in the IBEE research program provide demonstrations, diagnostic weighting, and canonical representation layers built on this validator architecture.
