When a reproductive-age female goes to the emergency department with sudden pelvic pain, it is essential to exclude life-threatening diseases that may necessitate immediate surgical intervention.Pregnancy must be ruled out in these patients with a urine or serum hCG assay. 2 Diagnosing pelvic discomfort necessitates a thorough strategy that encompasses obtaining a full history, executing a clinical examination, and undertaking investigations.Pelvic discomfort may arise from organs within the pelvic cavity or be referred from other organs, including the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, bowel loops, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.The primary diagnostic tool for ascertaining the etiology of acute pelvic discomfort in an emergency context is ultrasonography. 5If ultrasound results remain ambiguous, further imaging modalities
