A technological scheme for water purification in closed water supply systems using plasma discharge flow treatment has been developed. It has been experimentally proven that the use of plasma discharge in a cavitating liquid flow reduces the concentration of nitrites, nitrates, and ammonia accumulated in water, and also helps to reduce the risk of disease in fish due to the formation of active forms of oxygen such as ozone, hydroxyl radicals, and hydrogen peroxide. The recorded fluctuations in dissolved oxygen concentration during water treatment led to the conclusion that repeated aeration makes it possible to increase the level of dissolved oxygen, which also has a beneficial effect on the process of fish farming in closed water supply systems.
