Grey literature searching in systematic reviews remains highly variable and often lacks transparency. There is an urgent need for standardized guidance, greater integration of automation tools and improved researcher training in accessing less visible sources. Without these improvements, grey literature searching will remain inconsistent and resource-intensive, with uncertain impact on review quality.
