This dissertation explores the synthesis and reactivity of tungsten complexes featuring all-sp hybridized inorganic chain ligands. The first chapter focuses on BN isosteres of propargylidene complexes, while the subsequent chapters examine BN isosteres of bimetallic carbido complexes. The reported compounds are comprehensively characterized, their reactivity analyzed, and their bonding situations evaluated. Furthermore, the photophysical properties of these compounds are investigated.
