Herein, we report a metal‐ and photocatalyst‐free oxidation of benzylic alcohols using di‐ tert ‐butyl peroxide (DTBP) under visible light irradiation. This environmentally benign and efficient protocol enables the conversion of a wide range of benzylic alcohols bearing diverse functional groups into their corresponding carbonyl compounds in excellent yields. The reaction exhibits outstanding functional group tolerance, remarkable chemoselectivity, and can be readily scaled up to the gram scale, highlighting its potential for practical synthetic applications.
