One-pot-synthesized anthracene-based chemodosimeter for toxic cyanide (CN − ) detection and anticancer analysis: substantiated by DFT, real-time investigations, and cytotoxicity assays
Key Points
The aim is to develop an anthracene-based probe for detecting cyanide and assessing anticancer properties.
One-pot synthesis of an anthracene derivative.
Utilization of a 1,4 addition reaction for cyanide detection.
Evaluation of anticancer activity through cytotoxicity assays.
Employing DFT for theoretical support.
The synthesized compound functions effectively as a chemodosimeter for cyanide.
Demonstrated potential anticancer activity in cytotoxicity assays.
Confirmed findings through real-time investigations.
Abstract
