Abstract Advances in genomic DNA methylation profiling have revolutionized brain tumor classification, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and personalized medicine. This presentation will provide case-based examples of how methylation arrays have become an essential part of the workup for CNS tumors. It will also present two new approaches to methylation profiling, nanopore and TET-assisted pyridine borane sequencing (TAPS), and how these new technologies are poised to replace much of our current molecular armamentarium.
