Currently, exhaust noise testing for motorcycles is conducted through direct measurements, which can be affected by various disturbances, resulting in discrepancies in the data. To address this, we investigated the validity of a simulation-based model developed using OpenWAM, with the aim of reproducing and evaluating noise levels. To align the simulated intake volume with measured values, the throttle model was improved. Additionally, we refined the models of the punched metal and silencing materials, comparing the simulation results with actual measurements. As a result, the computed noise values were found to replicate the trends of the measured data under most conditions.
