ABSTRACT High‐performance, cost‐effective, and environmentally resilient light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) necessitate inert atmospheres and encapsulation, which impedes their extensive utilization as sustainable LED technologies. Here, we present fluorinated carbon dots (FCDs) synthesized from 2,4 – difluorobenzoic acid and histidine, which reduce the singlet‐triplet energy gap and augment spin‐orbit coupling, resulting in efficient triplet exciton harvesting and improved structural stability. Moreover, we demonstrate for the first time fully air‐processed FCDs‐based LEDs (Air‐LEDs) fabricated without the requirement of gloveboxes or encapsulation procedures. These devices attain a maximum luminance of 571 cd m −2 and an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 4% in air, which is four times higher than that of conventionally encapsulated, glovebox‐fabricated devices (Box‐LEDs). In this FCDs‐based LEDs system, the significant performance enhancement is mainly attributed to the oxygen‐mediated charge transport boosting, namely, an oxygen environment facilitates charge carrier generation and rapid transport. This research offers a novel approach for the development of Air‐LEDs, Carbon dots, oxygen‐mediated charge transport, transient photocurrent, high‐performance, cost‐effective, and air‐stable optoelectronic devices.
