Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder that typically affects women during their reproductive years. Diet can play a role in managing PCOS symptoms and improving clinical outcomes. Findings from 5 studies support that following a KD can result in statistically significant and clinically relevant improvements in anthropometric measures, lipid profile, and glycemic control in women with PCOS.
