The effect of adding cellulose nanofiber (CNF) to piezoelectric filler-dispersed polymer matrix composites, which are expected to be used in flexible and printable devices, was verified. The effect of CNF on macro piezoelectric properties was verified by a melt-casting method in which polypropylene, barium titanate, and cellulose nanofibers were mixed and molded in a mold, and by a multi-scale analysis using asymptotic homogenization theory. The effect of CNF content on macro piezoelectric properties was analyzed, and the mechanism of improvement in piezoelectric properties was elucidated.
