The objective of this case study was to examine the implementation of Industry 5.0 principles in a metalworking company specializing in the production of aluminum goods for export. To this end, a quantitative evaluation was carried out using a face-to-face questionnaire survey addressed to 20 managers and employees across various organizational departments. The questionnaire employed a 5-point Likert scale and focused on four main vectors of Industry 5.0: organizational resilience, sustainability, people-centered strategy, and digital maturity. The latter was assessed using the Open DMAT questionnaire. The findings suggest that the company has achieved a moderate degree of digital maturity, indicating that it has made substantial progress in this area. Concerning resilience, the study identified deficiencies in interdepartmental coordination, underscoring the necessity to foster enhanced integration across organizational domains. For sustainability, the teams have demonstrated a commitment to operational sustainability practices. However, the potential of sustainability as a catalyst for generating market opportunities remains underappreciated. Finally, regarding the people-centered strategy vector, there was a clear appreciation of employee participation, although investment in workstations for occupational health and safety requires improvement. The present study contributes to the advancement of knowledge regarding the practical implementation of Industry 5.0 concepts in a metalworking organization.
