In recent years, the increasing complexity and size of cast shapes have necessitated further improvements in the prediction accuracy of casting CAE to foresee casting defects before actual casting. This study aimed to enhance accuracy through the scaling up of CAE Simulation using mesh refinement and multiphysics analysis. High-precision analysis achieved through mesh refinement was made practical by utilizing MPI parallelization for reasonable computational times. Additionally, the inclusion of thermal deformation in the multiphysics analysis improved the modeling accuracy of the phenomena. This paper reports on the details and effectiveness of these analytical methods.
