In electromagnetic field analysis, such as time-harmonic eddy current problems and high-frequency electromagnetic fields, it is necessary to solve large-scale linear systems with the complex symmetric matrix. For this problem, a combination of the conjugate orthogonal conjugate gradient (COCG) method and the modified incomplete Cholesky factorization preconditioner have been widely used. On the other hand, in recent years, iterative methods for complex symmetric systems have been developed by splitting real parts and imaginary parts. This study applies these iterative methods to electromagnetic field analysis and evaluates their performance.
