This article explores issues and highlights the most obvious challenges and risks of implementing artificial intelligence systems to develop new algorithmic models for comprehensive performance evaluation of civil servants. The author raises questions including insufficient regulatory and legislative framework, the lack of necessary level of competence of developers and users, as well as the excessively high rate of implementation of untested hypotheses as a final solution. The attention of the federal government, the implementation of national strategies and projects certainly provide maximum guiding support for the corresponding services, developers and business. But the current level of expertise and knowledge raises a number of questions and identifies problems, which the author considers in the article. Among the risks that hinder the effective use of new artificial intelligence solutions, the article considers the lack of developed ethical standards for the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence systems, and all the possible risks that entail the introduction of new approaches, without synchronization with the speed of change in the current working methods and principles. In conclusion, the article emphasizes that despite the rationality of current trends in human resource management, a sloppy implementation may end up in a senseless waste of resources and potential.
