Conclusion:A lower eGFR (<7ml/min) at the start of dialysis was associated with an unplanned start and a lower probabilty of starting with PD.These findings emphasize the importance of early referral to a nephrologist and then proactive planning as eGFR decline to optimize transition to dialysis.I have potential conflict of interest to disclose.
