The study examined the effects of different nitrogen fertilizer formulations and lettuce cultivars on morphological and quality traits under greenhouse conditions. The results showed that fertilizer type, cultivar, and their interaction significantly influenced the number, length, and width of outer leaves, as well as soluble solids content. Calcium ammonium nitrate increased leaf number, ammonium sulphate enhanced leaf dimensions, while the highest Brix values were recorded in the control treatment without nitrogen fertilization. The findings highlight the importance of aligning fertilizer type with cultivar selection to optimize lettuce production.
