Financial literacy has become a key issue in determining women empowerment in the developing economies. This paper is a quantitative research design focused on the impact of financial awareness, financial management, and financial independence on women empowerment. Primary data was gathered using a structured questionnaire, on 150 women respondents in tirupur district and secondary data using scholarly articles. Factor analysis revealed three meaningful dimensions of financial literacy, which explained 57.625% of the total variance. The results of ANOVA revealed that education, age, and employment have a significant impact on financial awareness and financial management whereas financial independence does not differ significantly among the demographic groups. The multiple regression analysis indicated that financial literacy is a significant predictor of women empowerment (R² = 0.539). Financial independence was identified as the most significant predictor (β = 0.415), followed by financial awareness (β = 0.301) and financial management (β = 0.257). The findings confirm that financial literacy plays a significant role in enhancing women empowerment.
