The article provides a theoretical and methodological justification and analysis of the practical effectiveness of ethnodesign as an effective pedagogical tool in the process of forming sustainable value orientations and strengthening the national identity of schoolchildren in the context of the modernization of national education and globalization challenges. It is determined that ethnodesign is a synthesis of traditional cultural elements and innovative design practices, functions as a powerful carrier of the symbolic code of national art. It is proven that the integration of ethnodesign into the educational process contributes to the development of creative thinking, the formation of sustainable artistic values, which are transformed into worldview guidelines, and also ensures successful socialization and ethnocultural identification of young people. Effective pedagogical technologies are presented, including museum-pedagogical activities, interactive forms of work with traditionalists, and the introduction of digital tools, in particular AR/VR immersions.
