The article examines the current state of the Brazilian military-industrial complex, mediated by the Industrial Defense Base. The internal structure of this institution, the decision-making mechanisms and the main directions of military production and the geographical distribution of Brazilian defense companies are considered. The current measures of the executive power to stimulate the development of the military industry are described. The article also provides an overview of the key modern achievements of the Brazilian military-industrial complex, and lists the main developments. The export and import components of Brazilapos;s military-technical development are considered.
