Mechanically activated calcium gluconate was studied using the X- and W-range paramagnetic resonance method. The W-range spectrum is multicomponent and is described by contributions from two types of radicals with different g-factors: carbon radicals of δ-gluconolactone and the (Ca-OCHO)·δ-GL radical. The parameters of these spectra obtained because of quantum-chemical calculations are in good agreement with the experimental ones.
